Though I am aligning more to being on a gender spectrum and what that path means to me, the divine feminine within me is something I honor and cherish as it has protected me in so many ways in my life.
Friday the 13th was considered the day of the Goddess. It was considered a day to honor the Divine Feminine that lives in us all and to honor the cycles of creation and death and rebirth.
Since snakes also represent a cycle of shedding the old and starting a new I had to incorporate it onto the work wrapped around the number 13 and holding a rose that represents that divine feminine.
